Do you have questions you’d love to ask an occupational therapist, speech therapist, general educator or content specialist, or experienced homeschool educator, but don’t know where to turn?
You’ve found your answer here. Our panel is made up of experienced educators with a variety of backgrounds, ready to answer your pressing questions. Questions will be submitted in advance for inclusion in the panel; live questions will be accepted if time allows.

You will receive an email from Naturally Effective Behavior LLC following your registration with a Zoom link and link to a Google form where you can submit questions for the panel. Submitted questions will be addressed during the panel, with live questions available if time allows.
Possible topics
The topics are up to you! Participants will be invited to submit questions in advance for our panel to answer during the meeting. Topics may include:
- How to choose curriculum for your home education efforts
- How and when to request assessments from the district
- Removing your child from public school, or re-entering them after homeschooling
- How to address food aversions
- How and when to introduce music education at an age appropriate level
- Environmental supports for children with high support needs
- Making STEM activities fun and accessible

Meet the experts
Hattie-Angelys Fox is a dual certified educator who specializes in early childhood, with a background in human development. She has experience with Waldorf, Charlotte Mason, and Montessori. A BCBA and owner of Naturally Effective Behavior, her scope includes environmental support and management, psychological flexibility, Autism, and Neurodivergence advocacy.
Raina Angelier knows New York State homeschool law very well. She is an educator by profession with certifications in special education, elementary education, and literacy. She does educational assessments and is knowledgeable about dual enrollment. She homeschooled her twin daughters from kindergarten through high school. They graduated high school last year and entered Stony Brook University as juniors as a result of their dual enrollment. Raina loves to share things she’s learned along the way of her family’s homeschooling journey.
Jess McNeill is a NYS certified teacher in music K-12 with a specialization in stringed instruments. She is a violinist and violist and trained in the Suzuki method. She has experience with public and homeschooling.
Meg Toomey has been an OT for over 15 years, specializing in pediatrics from 18 months through the teenage years. She has also coached cheerleading and tumbling professionally for 20 years. Movement, life skills, and functional problem solving are her career passions. She is homeschooling her 2 young sons and life schooling her toddler. Meg have been part of family led traditional co-ops and also drop off co-op programs, where she currently teaches. She loves that homeschooling gives her family the freedom to schedule their lives however they want and to always have the option to change what and how we do things. Each child and parent can have what’s best for them and all of it can be tailored to fit. The motto “this is what’s working right now” is guiding their lives and although busy, it’s because she thrive on busy and not because we are trapped by it.
Denise Trezza is a NYS teacher, certified for birth to 6th grade and holds a specialization in science. She has 10 years of public school experience as both a science teacher and science coach. Denise homeschooled her children on and off for several years and currently works with the homeschooling community at a co-op and offers STEM programs to the public.
Megan Wingert is a bilingual, pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) with 25+ years in the field. Apraxia of speech, feeding aversions, literacy, AAC, and bilingual language development are among her favorite work topics. She has four kids, all of whom have been homeschooled at some point in their educational careers.
